The primary responsibility of the Operations Managers is the commitment to effectively manage the school bus drivers, administrative duties, and ensure that daily operation of school bus routes, trips and processes run smoothly. 

As the operations manager you will oversee the fleet of busses that transport students to and from school. You play a crucial role in the overall planning and management of the bus routes and scheduling working with the district to ensure a safe, effective, responsive and efficient transport service to staff and students. You see that the day-to-day operations run smoothly and are in compliance with regulations according to policies, guidance and procedures. 
 
You will supervise all bus drivers and mechanics, effectively handle issues and provide guidance. You will recommend salary adjustments, promotions and dismissals. You must stay current with all new regulations that pertain to the School Bus Industry, CDL Licensing, as well as school district updates and keeping up to date on proper training of personnel. Submit monthly billings and bi-weekly payroll as well as participate in meetings and planning processes as appropriate.  You will enact contingency plans as needed and escalate and direct activities during system issues and are able to identify potential issues, troubleshoot and inform appropriate parties. You must be able to initiate actions and make independent decisions with regular managerial direction.

You can prioritize and multi-task. You are goal oriented and self-sufficient. You are highly motivated in a fast-paced environment. You are CDL licensed with P and S endorsement, or willing to get certified within sixty (60) days of employment. You have knowledge of surrounding areas and dispatch systems. You are a quick learner. 

Salary is negotiable.
